    Hi,

I was looking at a Toshiba 20WL56 but came accross a site which said :

"HDTV-Ready - Requires separate receiver to view HDTV signals."

What does thi mean? and what is the separate receiver?

AFAIK this is basically referring to the SkyHD box which is the main source of HDTV here, there is another HDTV box on the rounds and if you search through the Satellite Forum you'll find details.
Again AFAIK these are the only current source of HDTV transmissions available to us on this island
