    Hey guys,

now that I have bought my first airsoft gun and am now addicted and constantly looking through airsoft sites,I am on the look out for what my next gun should be! :D I know most of you would buy machine guns or shotguns etc over anything else, but I prefer handguns for some reason,so Ill stick with them for now!

I was just wondering does anyone know what type of guns Nic Cage's character (well first character) had in Face/Off. They were the golden guns. Seemed cool. And if there is an airsoft version of them

    Cheers.

ive been lookin around for some custom grips for my beretta's as well as of late but sadly the 1911's seem to be the guns that most custom grips are made for, i think a standard black grip with some design in white/silver would be cool

After seeing N.O.I.P's 1911 I think it's going to be my pistol of choice. Such a nice looking gun.

Surprisingly close. All you'd need to do would be get some of those pistol grips

I looked into this once before, I dont think any where does a bespoke nick cage replica but you can get V close, ie. the gold slide and chassis, bar that I think the rest is bespoke.
Its definitely a 1911 derivitive, hi cap series springfields as stated above.

I'll add any pimp pics i find in here, AND to start with
    http://www.dentrinity.com/ClarenceLai/sh.htm

    and a revolver
    http://www.dentrinity.com/ClarenceLai/Img/ppcfront.jpg

I'd quite like that first gun if it weren't for the gold and purple.
The second revolver looks the business!

You could (If you had the money), get the gold WA 1911, then the grips from this http://wickedgrips.com///geminicustoms.jpg and take the dragon off and paint them gold then "Carve" out the black wood grips and inlay the gold dragons, then put resin over the lot to make it smooth if you wanted it all flush.

Hmmm I'm not really a fan of these custom guns but after thinking about it for a while I've decided that the more people who get them the better. Afterall when you are at a skirmish it won't exactly be hard to see a guy hiding in the bushes if he shines like a giant disco ball :D

Just hope he isn't on your team!

But Id still look damn cool despite being shot to sh1t :D

Ah sod it,I think I might just buy it after I get paid this week,I should have enough for rent at the end of the month  :p

Has anyone bought from uncompany? are they any good, reliable? I noticed ehobbyasia labeled my last one as a toy and as a gift which no doubt helped it get through customs fairly quickly and helped with the tax. do uncompany do the same?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,121 ✭✭✭N.O.I.P.

Hey it works out even better if he is on your team. When the enemy come looking for you, you shine a torch at his guns and the glare will blind them. Works better then a flash bang just remember to wear tinted glasses :D

I haven't bought from UNcompany myself. I'm just trying to think who has that you could ask. I know N.O.I.P just ordered a bit of gear from them. No guns included in it though.

They try but you'll usually get taxed. Reliable as f**k tho, and fast.

i got a glock17, holster and a spare mag from UNC and i got it in about 10 working days. didnt get taxed on it. UN will put whatever value you want on the pack too but will only refund that amount should it go missing.

I'd say the WA gold 1911 is cheaper on ehobby then UN though.

You'll just need to get a purple dress suit and youll be ready to skirmish.

If he's wearing purple he can be on the other team!!

there was a gang themed shoot at SG1 a while back and a pair of those pistols and a flashy suit would have looked the buisness. and a pair of tinted safty glasses like the gardur ones.

I just order from this site-

    http://www.tokyo-model.com.hk

Well i think I did anyway! Basically you make an account, give your details, name address etc and you pick what item you want. When you do that they send you an e-mail saying they will e-mail you back with shipping costs based on weight. THey do not say what the shipping costs are before you order. But they don't actually ask for any payment, not yet anyway. Its been a day and they havn't e-mailed me back which is annoying because with anyone else it would be done on the spot.

I presume they will e-mail me back giving the total cost and then ask for credit card details. It just seems a very odd way to do it. Has anyone ever bought from them before? I saw the link in one of the sticky threads. The gun was $50 cheaper than ehobby so it looked like a good deal.

ohhhhhh sh!t, i'm pretty sure you just got scammed!!!

wasn't there a link to reviews on that store, if you can cancell the payment

in the sticky thread on where to buy, someone has the link down.

And no I wasn't scammed because I havn't given any credit card details yet! They havn't asked for them. All they have is my contact details,no payment details,so I havn't lost anything. I just think it is an odd way how they are selling.

They dont actually sell things, they just scam people out of their money!

UN company deal like that too. the give you the cost of the items but will recalculate the cost + Shipping in an email after you place your order and you pay then through paypal.

    This site however is bogey.

Ok...do you know someone who was scammed? Strange how they asked for no payment details,at all,so there is no way they can get any money off me. Ill look elsewhere then! :P

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,323 ✭✭✭Spitfire666

ehobby is probly the cheapest non scamming site.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 828 ✭✭✭whupass

no they didn't ask for your details but you were going to pay what they asked right?

Not unless they had given me a shipping price up front and used paypal. You can claim your money back with paypal if it is a scam.

I ordered it from UNcompany anyway, and they actually do the same thing. They said they would e-mail me with the final price and I pay then.

I told you that..lol. was the ehobby one not cheaper then the UNcompany one?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 960 ✭✭✭Harekin

    UNcompany are pure class tho!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,788 ✭✭✭tvnutz

    about a tenner cheaper :p

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 960 ✭✭✭Harekin

But UNCompany are way faster. My first UNCompany order took 3 days from payment to my doorstep!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,323 ✭✭✭Spitfire666

I didnt look realy, just noticed that they were cheaper. i geuss UN would be cheaper if you ordered a pair as they combine shipping where Ehobby wouldnt.
