Yes ! I was there recently....
Nice place ! When I was there there was two 1/2 PLH and one 1/2 NLH tables going. There was another four other tables, think they were playing 7 stud !
I got the impression that the card room is only open at the weekends, but i could be wrong !

I'm heading over in march for a few days was gonna post the same site.

I think it's it the only "legal" casino over there.

Work collegue who lives there (doesn't play poker) says it's probably one of the only places to get a game.

Charlesanto can you smoke at the tables?

Was over there twice recently, there is a big casino sign on the Damrak (dutch o'connell st,), but its only video blackjack, video poker, video roulette, nothing live. :(
The holland casino is a bit further out from the centre, and its open all week, well it was when I was there but that was v.busy at that time of year.

"holland casino" also have a small casino in the airport. Two blackjack tables, and a roulette table. I went in with my last €20 going home last time, got it to €40 in 5 hands and flight was called.
But as bad as BJ is in itself, they play it with out a push. Player 18, Dealer 18, house wins.

holland casinos is the place to go ,tue and thursdays they have a 60 or a 100 not to sure which is which so when u arrive go the casino and find out.about 12euro taxi fare. be warned the tournys get full due to locals booking early.so try book in advance.. enjoy..cash games as above. oh if u wanna play online u cant unless u bring a laptop and have ur own connection in the room and even then u cant lodge money to ur account. if so deposit money before u go.

smoking is allowed in the casino, i think they have a smoking section and a non smoking section in the poker.

What way does it work when 20 students go in on a bag of green? Or do you offer to pick plants in exchange?

I said it was out from the centre, as in Damrak, Dam square, the train and metro stations, and some of the main streets, not that it wasn't busy. Leidsplein is quite busy, but its still a bit out from the dead centre if you are walking and not sure of the way to go.
not really a smoking break, went with friends in the summer, seen alot of the city, then went on a colllege trip there in november, so it was really multi-purpose trip

Peeko thats about right, it looks further than it is. It will be walking distance, how far depends on where you are staying.

Think he meant Damrak, Dam square, the train and metro stations, and some of the main streets are all in the center!

And that the casino is a good bit away from them...

Yeah, thats exactly what I meant, sorry if it wasnt clear. First time visitors will normally stay closer to this area. And if you are completely new to the city then the casino is a bit away.
Shouldn't be a problem to find, well depending on state of mind.
