ethernet unresponsive!!!

hi everyone recently installed a sweex wireless nic (LW052) to use with my netopia 2247nwg when i installed the card (pci) i coundnt get any kind of communication unistalled the card yada yada yada. Discovered that when i whet to set the router up through ethernet windows told me that the network cable was unplugged…

Discovered that when i whet to set the router up through ethernet windows told me that the network cable was unplugged checked all connections everythin okey dokey verified the ap was ok by testing it at a mates windows can see the ethernet port (onboard the motherboard by the by). updated drivers rolled back drivers restored pc to when i know for a fact that it worked no joy

was wonderin then if any of your fine minds out there can spread some light on this im stumped!!!
