apart from the ones already mentioned, ppp special. he finished 2nd in the two 15k and 20k on tribecca on the same night. got sucked out in the one i saw headsup but too. its a pretty good achievement

it was 10 last year...lol

I give my vote to Niall O'Callaghan, he's been on loads of final tables this year and playing some great poker and now making a living from online poker, which takes some guts after leaving a job.

Also Tony (flushdraw), but I suppose he would have a better chance for the online award.

Just an idea, but would it be better to have 2 awards, one for online cash player of the year, Robin, Hector, Fuzz etc and another for online tourney player of the year ie, Tony, Rob, Dave and Niall etc. Think it would be a better idea as there two different games online, well in my eyes anyway, still cant make any money at cash....lol

Although not allowed post (under that username?) anymore I don't think this thread can go by without mentioning him as a nominee. He won the BCOOP ME and finished top 30 on the stars TLB on the year. A decent achievement by anyones standards...

What's everyone judging this on? Best cash player should be on how much money someone has won at their particular stakes, and I can't remember seeing anyone post PT stats/spreadsheets recently.

Have to agree with Laf here, I don't know how we can have an On-line Cash Player of the year, I can't see many people posting their results in order to win this award.

So it'd really have to go to the best tournament results during the year, and I'd second the Rooney_Dives nomination as well as those mentioned above.

I dont really deserve inclusion in this, I have no false modesty and pretty much like to call it how I see it, I am the first to say that my first half of this year was fairly excellent however I only turned a meagre profit for the last five months despite having huge winning runs I was totally incappable of any sort of consistency and haemoraged money during one 5 week period.

If I was to choose anyone then it would be fuzz the quality of his posts and NCFCRob for improving and advancing his game in leaps and bounds.

Obviously if Dave Callaghan is included in this everyone should vote for him but as he has only posted a handful of times its not really relevant.
