Anybody know where I can get a Kph speedo for a '97 Ibiza. My g/f is not familiar with mph at all.. She's not Irish and just started driving here this year. So it would be a bit helpful for her as the kph on the current one is very small

To be honest, i'd just advise her to learn a few key figures, ie 30mph = 50km/h, 60mph = roughly 100km/h etc. The hassle & cost of changing the clocks on a 97 car, together with the potential difficulty of selling a car with non-original clocks would outweigh the benefits, IMO.

There should be km/h figures on it already, albiet smaller than mph figures

    edit: I can't read!

many left hand drive models would be in kmph. maybe they're interchangable?

    Hi Onkle,

Buy one from a foreign ebay or maybe even the girlfriend might know someone back home. A dealer might fit it, though they usually dont like fitting used parts. They will not change the mileage to match the old unit for you though. A good diagnostic specialist should be able to sort both coding and mileage issues.
