Can basic paypal accounts receive money?

    I have the free basic paypal account for buying stuff on ebay but I'm thinking of selling something on ebay. Will the winner of my auction be able to transfer money to my basic paypal account, or will I have to upgrade to a seller paypal account?

    Anyone with an paypal account and a bank/cc account can receive as far as I know.

    On Personal PayPal account you will be able to receive only 5 transactions from other PayPal accounts funded from credit cards. So, if you expect high volume of sales the only way for you is to upgrade to Premier account.
