Tyre Pressure

    Sorry for the stupid question but I just cant seem to find out for sure....

    99 Primera, sticker on the door says front tyre pressure 29 and rear 26, car feels a bit loose at the rear sometimes and Im not sure what pressure I should have in the tyres, friend said 29 at the front and 32 rear, would this be right? Isnt higher pressure less grip?

    Having the pressures either too high or too low will reduce grip. Is the car still on tyres of the original dimensions? Have a look in the handbook if you're not sure, it should give you pressures for at least a couple of wheel/tyre combinations.
