I've spent ages setting up my team with preferred formations, movements, defensive attitude blah blah. I've saved it and it's obviously great to be able to load it up in an instant to play. This all works grand playing the COM but I couldn't use this saved data when playing online ... just didn't give me the option. What's the drill? Surely to god this must be available as an option???? Am I missing something obvious??:(

I don't think it's possible. When playing online you use the default Team Line ups and formations.

This is mainly to ensure that all online players have access to the same sets of players, same skills, etc.

If that's the case it's a real pity. Really dilutes the skill of 'managing' the team in terms of tactics and strategies. It's also a real pain in the ass to have to adjust settings to get near to your usual set up.

Ah you cant do it directly in xbox live just load the data before going on live i.e set up a friendly match and then load data and then quit when you go on xbox live the data should be in the stock formation just select copy and copy it over to existing formation. you will know what i mean!!! then after every match it will load up automatically.

Just be carful though as it wont do it for second player unless you load the stocked formations for this too before you start.

Let me know if this works!!

I saw this online at the xbox forums. Havent got around to trying it myself but is supposed to work fine.

Ok - setup a league using the team you like playing as.

In the league main menu, go into your tactics screen and set the formation and put the players in, as you would like them to play (ignore conditions at this point, as they will change every game)

    Go into Stock Formation.

Save current formation to your 360's HDD.

    The formation is now saved.

BEFORE you go online to play as this team, go into the league menu and then into the tactics screen, it will now of loaded the tactics and players you have just setup, and will set this as default.

Now back out of the league and go online, setup a match and hey presto, its loaded your default formation!

I wonder is it possible for Konami to "update" PES 6 with Replay option?

    Considering its in the manual!

Be great if they could update all the players in the transfer window!

    (I can only dream!)

    :D
