Tax on relatively small income

I'm a student, working part time, usually two days a week. Generally the only PAYE/PRSI on my pay slip is the employers contribution, but over christmas I was working full-time and paying both PRSI and PAYE. Now that I'm back in college, money's getting tight again, so I'm wondering if I'm entitled to getting some of my tax back. I've paid about €150 PAYE and about €200 PRSI. I was working abroad for the summer so my earnings for the year have been very small so far. Is it possible to apply to have my PAYE refunded, given that I've earned nowhere near my yearly tax credits?

yeah you need to get a balancing statement from revenue. for this you will need your p.60 and a cover letter to the taxman asking for a review. they will send you a check in 4-8weeks usually

Thanks for that, it'll be really useful to get that back.
