Need Assistance With Job Application Form

    I'm turning to fellow boardies for some help. I am in the process of filling out an application form for a IT job in the civil service. Part of the application requests that I detail my technical experience under the following headings:
    • Routers/Hubs/Switches
    • IP & VOIP
    • WAN / LAN technologies
    • IT Systems
    • PC & Server Hardware
    • PC & Server Operating Systems
    • PC & Server Networking

    I'm not sure what sort of answer they are looking for. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

    not trying to be smart, but if you dont know what these are or what the employer wants to know about them, what are you appltig for this job for?:confused:

    I have a degree in IT and I'm also MCSA on Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 so I do know what these things are. My problem with the application form is Q1 is describe my techincal experience under the headings above and then Q2 is detail my work experience including what I did. For my technical experience are they looking for things like installing,configuring servers etc, Active Directory and then repeat it for work experience?

    I'd include my tech. expertise as well as work experience using the various technologies.

    Technical Experience - Extent of your knowledge & experience of that technology

    Work Experience - Where you gained that experience.
