Hi I am headint to Canada for the summer for two months from June, then heading on a roadtrio down the west coast before heading home from laX 3 week's later,
just looking for peoples experiences on living/working in vancouver and places to see,

as well as ideas for the roadtrip, information on where to stay, i.e or there hostels in america or how expensive or the motels,

I ordered a visa through usit and teh price of flights comes to 730 euro.

Two of us are thinking of travelling along the very same lines. Base ourselves in Vancouver, and then 3 weeks at the end exploring the west cost, flying home from LA. I was just wondering though, when you book flights through usit(as it seems you have to in order to get the visa) does your return flight not have to be from a Canadian airport?

I'm a bit clueless about this, because we haven't even applied for the visa yet(under 35 visa), but the wheels are very much in motion. Our planned length of stay is start of May to end of July(3 months), but to be honest i'm starting to think I'd like to go for a full year - make the most of it. There's nothing really holding me back here and my SSIA matures in April. Just need to pluck up the courage I suppose, because I'd be taking the plunge on my own:o

Usit do allow you fly home from america, so that won't be a problem

Haha. Make sure you start saving early! Everyone plans on travelling at the end but most have about $40 left by the end of the summer!
