Bravio LCD TV..how to tune in NTL digital?

We have NTL digital coming in to our house through the NTL box downstairs. We also have a Sony Bravia LCD TV with digital tuner upstairs. This TV has a digital tuner and what looks like a card slot. The NTL card does not fit however. Is there a way of getting NTL digital to work upstairs?? Thanks in advance for any help!

You'll need an NTL STB connected to it the way you would with any other TV. The tuner in the TV is most likely for DTT.

indeed

Sony Bravia come with built in DTT tuners. no good for ntl digital. you will need a ntl set top box connected for ntl digital

Thanks for that..what is DTT..Digital Terrestial TV? Can this tuner be used for anything in Ireland?? Thanks again much appreciated!

you might be able to pick up the DTT trials if you're in Dublin or Louth, it only RTE, TV3 and TG4 though. Make yourself a cup of tea and go read the DTT Trial threads:
