Python bindings for php

    Ok, this question is probably all kinds of painful for some. :)

    But anyone know if there are any python bindings for php in existence (i.e. so that I can call out to php libraries from python)? I tried googling for this, but the first two pages of googling "python bindings php" (and "python bindings for php" in quotes gave a very interesting IRC conversation) didn't yield anything useful.

    So does anyone know if such a project exists, and/or where I could find it if it did?

    I have no idea but it might be worthwhile seeing if there's such a project in PEAR, pear.php.net
