Mechanical Ventilation and Gas Fires

    Do the building regs. consider mechanical ventilation as sufficient ventilation for a gas fire. The balanced flue kind if that makes any difference.

    Or would it mean holes in walls or trickle vents in windows?

    Any room containing a heat producing appliance must have a wall vent
