Playing xbox games on 360

    I was just wondering if there is a way to play xbox games that aren't on the 360 backward compatibility list? I got Tenchu: Return From Darkness ages ago for my xbox, but it would never work on my modded xbox (although it worked on my mates). Being lazy/stubburn, I never really did anything about it. But now that I had a 360, I assumed it'd play just fine, but it doesn't. I get a message that it's not compatible and that I should try online to see if there's a patch for it (not xboxlive, but on the interweb).

    Does anyone know if this is just a lost cause and I won't be able to silently kill my enemies unless I buy the japanese version of the newest edition, or is there some way of getting it to play?

    If it isn't compatible with the 360, there's no way to play it on it.
    You can suggest games to Microsoft though, that you'd like to see made compatible, if that's any use:
