I imagine that the standard of your play in the tourney was better than the standard of your grammer and punctuation in the above post for you to finish 42nd. :)

Hard luck. What was the payout for 42nd btw?

Mmm...a bit sick to go that deep for that pay out. Ah well, not bad for a day's work I suppose.

I'm pissed about this event, I win it 2 weeks before they guarantee the 250k, muppets.

wp, I'll be back to play it next week.

I had a smaller scale version of this. $20 freezeout on stars yesterday, 1200 runners, $5.5k for first. I finish 12th for $155. Whinge, moan etc. I must start playing more multis, but another one I was playing at the same time on Stars was a bit too much. It was a $10, 1100 runner freezeout with 5k starting stack and 30 min blinds. 5 hours later I finish in 240th.

Man, I love the deep stack games on Stars. Was playing that particular one yesterday also (355th) after a horrendous beat - I'll leave it at that. They are a lot of effort for little reward unless you can final table - but they are enjoyable and good for your tourney game.

By the way, what does PMSL stand for??
