I'm going to a ball in Cork in a couple of weeks and need to find somewhere to get my hair, nails & fake tan done. I'll need a colour done in my hair so somewhere that specialises in colouring would be great. Does anyone have any suggestions as practially everyone I know in Cork is male. Thanks

I usually would get my hair upstyled for a ball out in douglas, in the hairdressers in morris house across from john o's. sam mccauleys is supposed to be good for the oul beauty stuff.

Where will you be staying in Cork?

I'm going down for a couple of days so I'll flit between friends in Glamire and carrigtohill.

I'm from Midleton, which is about 10 minutes drive from Carrigtwohill and there's a good few places around where you could get everything done.

I'd recommend getting the nails and fake tan done at any of the following beauticians:
    -Advanced Beauty Clinic
    -Ambience
    -Midleton Park Hotel

When it comes to hair, i don't really recommend going to the hairdressers for a colour when you've a big event coming up- especially when it's your first time going to those hairdressers... Anything could happen really and i'm just wary about those kinda things. If you really do want to get a colour, you might be better off heading to one of the popular hairdressers in Cork City. But anyways, the following would be the "well known" hairdressers around Midleton:
    -Splitends
    -Cathy's (The Hair Shop)
    -Fusion
-Pink Shampoo (I think that's what it's called...)
    -Norma's
    -Headquarters

Let me know if you need the location of any of these - although I'm sure your friends would know the whereabouts they are in Midleton.

    Hope that helped.

    That's great. Thank you.

You're probably rigth about the colour. I was just thinking timewise it would be about the right time to get it done and could kill two birds with one stone. I'll probably opt to get it done a week earlier and just get it styled on the big day.
