Trying to get my music on my ipod onto a college machine and I can't find the original cd. Is this possible? Do I need special software (if so that's f*ckin bullsh*t, it's my music I should be able to do what I want with it)?

ephpod i think is what you are looking for. never use itunes again, blastid program the reason i sold my ipod.

the mp3's could be ones he's bought but has forgotten login to the site he bought them off or deleted them off pc.

That's just it. I've an 80gig lappy and a 60 gig ipod so i figure when I put the songs on my ipod I should be able to free up my lappy's memory. They should accomodate that tbh. Also, what happens when you change PC? God, apple piss me off.

ephpod is an alternative to itunes? Is there not something I could use with it?

Sure... but wouldn't that be copyright infringement?
