    Hi All,
I am having a problem FTP'ing a small file to a dreambox (cable TV box).
The file is only 33kb but when i try to send it it starts transferring at a slow speed and then gets slower and stops and only tranfers about 2kb?
The funny thing is I can FTP from the box to the pc and its really fast and has no problem with any file size?
I am two full days trying to get this working.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
    Many Thanks
    Sham...

ps I have tried 4 different FTP programs just in case and they all fail.

What type of file is it? shouldn't matter too much but would help to know... Maybe it's because of a block of that type of file on the box tho?...

    What errors are yah getting?

its an xml file, I thought it might be in use or something so I tried deleting the one already there and it let me so thats not it.
It doesnt give me an error, it starts to transfer at 16kb/s then drops to 8, 4, 3 and then 0.0kb/s and then stops. The cable file is appearing where I want to copy it to but it only copies around 5-8kb/s, it varies every time I do it.
I have checked most things DHCP etc, its driving me mad especially the fact that I can copy from the box to the pc no problem.

This sounds like a firewall problem, ensure you have no firewalls running.
