Heading to Florence in May for a conference which is being held in Fortezza da Basso. Can anyone recommend a 3/4* hotel near this venue? Also, would appreciate any info on places to eat & where to shop!

I stayed in a campsite out of town so can't help you with location but anywhere in Florence is good to eat and shop!
