Anyone know the best place to get visas for Cambodia and Vietnam in Ireland? I've seen a few places advertised but am looking for personal recommendations.

    thanks

For Vietnam you have to apply to the embassy in London, link.
You can get Cambodian visas at the border crossings or else there's embassies in Vietnam (Hanoi I think, and definitely HCMC as I got mine there).

You can also get a travel agent in Vietnam to provide you with an invitation and collect your visa on arrival at Saigon, Hanoi or Da Nang airports. It's handy if you're in a hurry and don't trust the post to London and back. If you need further info let me know.

Sorry, didn't realise they were doing visa on arrival now. The last time I was in Vietnam I was crossing from Laos so I just picked mine up in Vientiane, I don't remember visa on arrival being an option a few years ago when I was there first.

Only found out by accident last year myself and AFAIK it's only on arrival at the three airports I mentioned.

I've looked through the website but can't find it. How much does the visa cost? Thanks:-)

It cost me £45 including return post by registered mail, but that was 2 1/2 years ago so it could be different now.
