Im in a spot of bother here and hope someone can help. I downloaded a CV template earlier and made up a CV for myself. I then saved the cv(using word). Then when I went to open it the bloody thing was nowhere to be found. I then opened the template again and saved to see where it was saving to. It was in a folder called "Temp" which was a subfolder of a folder called "Local settings" which was a subfolder of the folder C:\Documents and Settings\HP_Administrator. The problem is when I go to C:\Documents and Settings\HP_Administrator I cant find the folder Local settings that my file is supposed to be in.

Ive spent the whole fvcking morning on the thing so any help is massively appreciated.

The "local settings" folder is usually hidden. To see it you can either add "\Local Settings" in the address bar, or go to Tools -> Folder Options -> "View" tab -> Show hidden files and folders.

    Hope that helps

Or just open the doc again and choose save as instead of save, browse to desktop and save it there.
