Hey have a prob there, after reinstalling xp home, and couldnt find mobo drivers for ages. It's msi platinum power up edition 775 on core2duo chip.

So found the drivers and installed the audio ones and the jmicron ones, and it restarted, but key board and mouse (both usb) went dead before hand. Now they are fine on system bootup and i can enter bios, tried disabling the audio and jmicron controller but still mouse and keyboard not working... Can't get in to do a system restore. Tried putting in a ps2 mouse and nothing.... can anyone help me?, seems all the usb is dead??? usb key not working either

Probably have to find and reinstall the drivers for the USB now.

Did you attach the PS2 devices when the computer was on? They have to be attached while its off, or restart after they have been attached.

Windows has built in usb drivers. Try this.

Go into your bios. And enable keyboard, and mouse usb. There is also a option of which usb you want to use. 1.1 or 2. Select one.

another twist, a friend of mine said try switching the jmicron to acpi and see if that works, now i cant make it to the bios
says detecting drives and gets stuck on that. I removed the drives also...
