    Hi all ,

Currently im in the market for one of the xbox 360 racing wheels and I have been reading some racing forums and there seems to be an even split between the official MS wireless wheel and the Logitech Drive Race FX wheel and I am just wondering if any boards users have any opinion on the 2 mentioned wheels , and have they seen much improvement in their times vs using the standard wireless controllers ?

At the moment I am split between the 2 wheels I have listed above , The logitech I prefer the look and overall design but with the MS version I also like because of the wireless option plus it comes with the feedback enhanced version of PGR3 .I visited smyths and gamestop in waterford today in order to see and get a feel of the wheels before buying on the net but both were out of stock so i'll just have to wait till im back in dublin tomorrow in order to get a hands on view/feel of each wheel .

Many thanks to anyone who can give me some info or insight here !!

MS version is not fully wireless, you still have to plug it in to play with it

Only if you want to use the force feedback on it. Without that its wireless.

thats the whole point of the wheel as far as i'm concerned , i did not really mind the small cable going to the pedals but having to plug it in to the mains for force feedback was a let down for me , along with the tiny note in the destructions to tell you that you could only get force feedback with it's pluged into the mains.

    apart from that it's great.
