Grants available for farmers?

I was just wondering what grants are currently available for farmers. I am aware of the waste management grant for which the application had to be in by christmas, but are there any others and what organisation are offering them?

All grants specifically aimed at farmers are offered by the Department of Agriculture and Food. Aside from the aforementioned Farm Waste Management Scheme, there are a number of other schemes available for environmental protection (REPS 4 is due to be announced imminently), there are aids available for biofuel production (up to E125/ha) and a number of other possibilities (including forestry).

If you contact your local Teagasc advisor they will be in a position to guide you with respect of your own particular circumstances.
