Bluetooth screen on startup

    Hi guys, recently got a dell PC from the outlet store and it has a program on startup which searches for blue tooth devices and just goes on forever until closed. Any idea where this is generated from and how to get rid of it. I've tried "tweak all" without success. Sorry if this has been asked before but the search function on boards does not work for some reason.

    I'm sure the config program for the bluetooth must have a means of stopping the search but if you cannot locate it...

    msconfig should show it (type in msconfig into the run box) and go to the startup tab.

    Alternatively if you right click on the bluetooth device in the device manager and select disable that may also stop it (and is probably the easiest way).

    Or use Hijack This which is normally used to remove spyware will show everything that loads at startup it is just a manner of ticking the box and it will be removed.

    " Hijack" worked, it seems it was a logitech program disguised as "dell connection wizard". Many thanks for the help
