I've just started a new job and this year I'll be going to quite a few cocktail evenings/balls/dinner dances. Does anyone know of online stores selling evening wear?

As I'm asking, ideas for shoes, bags and dres jewellery would be appreciated as well ;)

sorry, I sould have said I had checked the stickies but they are mostly for teeshirts & slouchy clothes. Much as I would love to roll up in jeans and a tee, I'm not sure it would go down too well :D

asos.com is really good for party dresses and they are really cheap as well.

Please do, that site has some nice things on it, let us know about the quality and how the size works out - cheers!

Sorry about the delay in reporting back.

Both the dresses from ASOS and sexyher arrived on time and perfectly packaged. Both were exactly what I was expecting. Sizing was spot on. I have to admit I like the asos dress better as I'm slightly too short to do the sexyher one justice. Both are well made and finished and I would have no problem ordering from either site again.

Oh my god hunnymonster! Im am sitting here in wonder and amazement! Sexyher site is an absolute find! I was looking at that cream butterflies dress on an american site for upwards of $200 excl. shipping! I cannot believe it! and Id say I could trust the sizing as well as it is done in uk sizes. Thanks a million! Anyway re. cocktail dresses check this one out. Pricey but oh so pretty:
