No time for a big write up cause I'm about to hit the hay but I expect Kings Glen to run a big race in the 1.55 at Punchestown. A thing to note about this horse is that every time it was promient or tracked the leaders it won, and whenever it was ridden out the back it has failed to produce, or fell. After the first 30 seconds of the race it will be evident as to whether it will run a good race - but it has a 50% record at Punchestown over four races and I'm fairly optimistic about its chances tomorrow at a decent each way price. If it is thrown into the race there's no reason it shouldn't win.

    Best of luck lads.

I'm a bit similar to jonsey, i was talking to the son of Jayo's owner, they are 110% certain it will steam in, if your not a fan of odds-on shots then stay away, if you are then get stuck in!!

work has put a stop to me backing lately. On a week of nights now so plenty of time to read the form!!

I fancy Madison Du Berlais in the 3.00 warick today. Hasnt been in the best of form so far this season but think its turn could be today. Had excuses on previous runs this season. Once coming back off 7 months layoff and other 2 times running over trip further than hed like. Back over 2m today and facing lesser opposition than he has faced this season. Has form on the ground and i fancy him to bounce back to winning ways today.

Ill also be keeping an eye on Rhinestone Cowboy in the 1.25. Was pulled up lto, after 32 months off. Dont think connections would persist with him if they didnt think he had some of his old sparkle left (only twice ever out of the first three) Could be value at around 8/1 imo.

Racing Demon is about as good a bet as you are going to see this season. At an ew price as well. Fingeronthepulse is one danger, if he is as good as reputed to be, but I cant see how three horses will finish ahead of Racing Demon. Get placed and you get your money back. How many of this field would finish third in a King George?

Of course, this was posted when the horse was 4/1. Some lucky people got 9/2 and even 5/1 but the price is going. Now 7/2 generally.

dont know if anyone noticed racing demon in the ring but he didnt look well in his coat very dull no shine -i know its easy to pick after the event and as i wasnt backing makes no odds to me but i would have been of the same opinion as morgans for e/w value

Dont think the trainer would have ran him if she thought something was amiss, and she was interviewed this morn and reported him well.

They were having the horse scoped to see if there was anything wrong, which I think there maybe as he went out like a light.

There is a quote on the RP website (not sure if it Mullins!) saying the horse returned lame.

Something very dodgy about that Kings Glen ride. Philip blatantly looked behind him when the horse was about 5th or 6th and dropped away to the very back and was last by about two lengths for most of the race, then he stayed on one pace picking off all the tired horses to finish 7th.

    Kings Glen wins at 33/1.

I think if it were England each of it's rides would be look into. When the horse failed to produce it was never thrown into the race - always held up, when it wins it is more involved, and then it goes out to win at 33/1. I can't find the thread I created about the horse last year, but I remember saying it would win a big race around this time of year - thinking it would be Aintree.
