Ok, so I want to buy some stuff from thomann. I check the prices on the UK site, €709. I check on the Irish one, €734. Can I just order off the UK one for €709? Or will they catch me out when they see it's being delivered to ROI?

The UK rate of VAT is lower, hence the difference in price. If it goes to ROI you will be charged the ROI tax rate.
