CashFlow figure in Balance Sheet

    In Year 2.
    What figure from the CashFlow goes in the balance sheet as "cash in hand & at Bank"

    The figure 28912 is the final balance for year 1.

    The final balance in dec is 68634.
    The final balance for the full year is 39722, but this is not using the opening balance from the first year.

    If I use the figure of cash in hand on my balance sheet
    as 68K my balance sheet is incorrect,
    if 39K my balance sheet is correct,

    Are my calculation correct and why do I use the figure of 39K as the cash in hand and not 68K?

    I hope I expalined it OK, if not just ask for clarification?

    Information,

    What Accounts package are you using?

    It looks as if your balance sheet is only pulling in information for the current year (I came across this problem before - Accounts package will rename nameless).

    Going by the information you supplied the correct closing balance is the €68,634.

    However, I wouldn't imagine this should be the figure in the balance sheet. The figure in the balance sheet should be the actual cash plus the reconciled bank figure(s).

    when you bring in the previous years figures, using 68k it balances
