Electrical store closing.. Does warranty still cover

    I am in the process of buying a stainless steel fridge/freezer but found out yesterday that the store I am buying it in is closing down (Permanently).

    The price is not terribly low but I can seem to find a similar model anywhwere.

    The manufacturer is Liebherr.

    Does the company cover warranty or the store ????

    The warranty is from the manufacturer. Lieberr are 1st class - they make cranes in Kerry! - so I doubt if you'll have a problem anyway.

    In any case, make sure you keep the receipt as proof of purchase date.


    Where is this store? - I wouldn't mind getting a couple of new things myself.

    There is no real bargains as its not closing down for a few months.. I need a freezer urgently so cant wait til it closes...
