Trojans + reformating

    Should one reformat Windows after the detection of a Trojan on the C Drive?

    As a very final alternative. Better to delete the intruder with AV and then close whatever hole it came in through.

    Not necessary to reformat just yet. Find out where the trojan came from by tracking the file that it infected.
