Not sure .. HDR doesn't involve the Gaussian Blur bit does it?

Anyway, I gave it a try .. not sure whether I like it or not.

Very interesting. Must give it a go. But shouldn't it be in the "Digital Darkroom" thingy up there?

Thanks for the link. Just tried on a few pics and it is interesting effect, very dream like.. Might be a nice way to save a lot of 'boring' pics..

Valentia, that would look great as well if you cropped in just to have mostly yellow around the middle bit... that's some mighty strong colour there :D

Love the colors there Valentia. Must try this out in some dull wedding shots.

Sorry to be awkward...but I prefer the first! Really nice effect though Danny!

I like both, for different reasons... the second one would look great on a black background I think. Definitely a good picture for this effect though. I haven't got it to work on any of mine - they all end up too dark... must try harder...

I use the "Cloud" skin here on Boards which is black.

I completely glossed over this as the explanation was too wordy for what boils down taking two exposuses, one being slightly out of focus. Then I found the Flickr group, which has some really interesting shots.
