Lidl lobster !!

just wondering has anyone tried the lobster for sale in Lidl, saw them there last week, they come frozen in a tube like frozen packaging for €8.00

I've bought them a few times. They're good, based on my vast experience of lobster (not!).
Thaw them overnight in the fridge, they're a bit smaller when the ice comes off them. Shelling takes a while, but you can then make stock with it either to bulk out the meat or have seperately e.g. in a bisque.
I generally serve them with pasta + sauce - 1 lobster serves 2 as a substantial starter. I think they may be a bit water logged for a classic lobster salad.
