Got one a few months ago on Tribeca (and 2 since) and checked it down for about a $2 pot cause they have a stupid bonus rule that it has to go so showdown.

I played this hand today. Its like theres an unwritten rule saying that you cannot bet a royal flush.
Holdem No Limit - $2 BB

    UTG ($271.40)
    MP ($413.65)
    CO ($194) [Mr. Flibble]
    Button ($143)
    SB ($198)
    BB ($176)

Mr. Flibble is CO with Qs, As
    Preflop: (6 players, $3)
UTG calls $2 and raises $5, MP calls $7, Mr. Flibble calls $7 and raises $15, 3 folds, UTG calls $15, MP folds

    Flop: 5s, Qc, Tc (2 players, $54)
UTG checks, Mr. Flibble bets $44, UTG calls $44

    Turn: Jc (2 players, $142)
    UTG checks, Mr. Flibble checks

    River: Ah (2 players, $142)
    UTG checks, Mr. Flibble checks

    Results: UTG has Ac, Kc
    Mr. Flibble has Qs, As
UTG wins $139 with Straight Flush AKQJT

yeah was thinking of betting it after the turn card but too many people were in. The royal flush was on the board(poster 2), none of us held any of the cards, we all just sat back in paronia and checked

Oh, I missed that it was on the board. Ive seen people fold to heavy pressure when the nuts is on the board a few times. Its a sign you are in a good game!
