He was on HSP too, Sharam "Sheiky" Sheikan. Wasn't as annoying on HSP but having watched the first two episodes of Poker After Dark he really gets under your skin.

I don't blame Hellmuth for getting píssed off about that either and the producers/TD didn't exactly handle it appropriately.

To be honest, I think Sheikan, and EVERY other player at the table knew exactly what Hellmuth was at. His little TV rants have become far to big a part of his game and it has to be very annoying for the other players. Not one of them was on Phils side.

Although i do think sheikan is a bit of a Tony G wanna be.

I wouldn't read too much into all the little spats between the pros, read a article by Jennifer Harman a week or so ago, she said that Matasow and Sheikan have been great mates for years, all the at the table stuff is them bounching off each other and its completely forgotten as soon as they leave the table. If you seen the footage when Mike does eventually knock Sheikan out of the WSOP a few years back he goes over to him and they have a chat with arms around each others shoulders (in a strictly mano a mano way of course;) ).

Hellmuths the same apparently, a lovely bloke away from the table but he knows how to maximise his tv time and fully understands the value of it. Bit like Jose Mourinho, he says what he knows will get him the most publicity

Tbh, I didn't find Sheikhan annoying at all in those clips, thought he was cool actually.
If he was goin on like that to anyone else there, say Annie Duke for instance, then he'd be a pri*k, but Hellmuth deserved it and more. What a sap.

The program is ok. I got a new cousin who lent it to me. It's worth watching for Shauna alone. Ep 2 and 3 are the best. Guess who wins?!
