    Stevo O Looks like I got the 1cent calls wrong. On Sunday the Speak Easy Price Plan indicated that Weekend calls to O2 phones and text were 1c. I phoned customer care and the agent informed me that was the new price plan. I note now the prices are different. :confused:

    I bought a new o2 ready to go phone just before christmas and there was a card in it saying i could have 1c calls and texts to 3 people 6pm-8am weekdays and all weekends. I rang the number up and the lady asks for my imei/emei/emeemeemee mimey mo number she says no your not entitled to it and then i said well why did i get a feckin card to say i was then? and she spoke to her manager and shazam. 1c calls n texts. i havent topped up since before christmas

    I bought a new phone off the O2 website before christmas and did not get one of those cards. Did they say how long your offer is for?

    hmm just had a look on the o2 website there, they can stop it whenever they want. that's the usual t&c crap.

    also, looks like u can just ring them up and ask for it

    O2 Friends terms and conditions
    Offer available to O2 Speak easy customers only and can only be activated by contacting O2 Customer Care.

    The O2 Friends Add On entitles you to 1c per minute voice calls made to nominated O2 Ireland numbers at Off Peak (as set out in your current O2 Speak easy price plan) and Weekend (Midnight Friday to Midnight Sunday, including bank holidays) times only.

    You may nominate a maximum of three (3) O2 Ireland numbers to be included as part of your O2 Friends Add On.

    Nominated numbers can only be changed once every three months and it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that nominated numbers are kept up to date and accurate.

    Promotional voice rate of 1c per minute is inclusive of VAT (per second billing applies)
    O2 Friends relates to national voice calls made to your nominated numbers while in the Republic of Ireland. Calls made to your nominated numbers while roaming are excluded.

    Call return and rating process remains unchanged. You will continue to be charged at the regular rate the call return function.

    Certain Speak easy users may not avail of the O2 Friends Add On including but not limited to customers on the Family Plan, International plan, Group worker tariff or those who currently avail of prepay Friends and Family plan.

    O2 reserves the right to suspend or cease the O2 Friends Add On and to amend and modify these terms and conditions without notice for any legitimate commercial, technical or operational reason

    can only be activated by contacting O2 Customer Care
    Do you think this is still worth ago?
