    Bought a Sony Vaio Intel P4
    3.06GHz
    512Mb
    ATI mobility radeon 9200.

    It's a big thing looks like smaller laptop If you know what I mean big thing on the back where speakers are.


    When I just hooked It up to my broadband the internet was grand so went to download PPStream which Is only 1.2Mb It would of took about 30mins very slow anyone any Idea's? I just done disk cleanup and that no change.

    The PPStream website tends to be very slow.

    The disk clean up would have no bearing on the speed of the broadband connection.

    So, a few things to try:

    A couple of other sites, see how fast/slow they are.
    A speed test (use the link above or Google)

    See what software is running in the background (p2p, IM, anti-virus, firewall, etc.).
