Going wireless with Wii

I picked up a Nintendo Wii yesterday and want to take advantage of its online capabilities, but I'm not sure how to go about it as I dont have a wireless setup.
At the moment I have a Zyxel Prestige wired modem/router connected to an imac.
Is my solution to buy a wireless router that connects through and ethernet cable to my Zyxel? The imac has airport installed on it and the Wii is wifi.
Also is there a possibility I will need to change my Zyxel moden settings?I ask this as I cant access it as I cant remember the password(set it up around 3-4 years ago).

Apologies in advance about the straight forward questions, but I really am clueless when it comes to wireless.:)

Yep, you can get a wireless router, put the Zyxel modem into bridge mode and then be able to connect whatever wireless devices you want.

Alternatively you could try replacing zyxel with a new dsl modem/router combo. (Neater solution, might be a tad more expensive)

And to regain access to the modem, just reset it and it will default to factory settings and login. Then you can reconfig it.

Thanks for the help.I reset the modem and logged in under default and set a password I can remember.:)

When you say replace the Zyxel with a new dsl modem/router combo do you mean wireless and if so how would I connect that? Also would I need to contact my provider(BT) when changing the Zyxel(BT are a nightmare to contact at the best of times)

    Thanks again.:)

Yep, it would be a wireless modem/router. Something like this. So you connect it to your phone line in the same way your current zyxel modem does. Then you can connect your imac or wii to it wirelessly. If you still want to connect imac using ethernet cable then it also has 4 ethernet LAN ports.

Should work with BT without any need to contact them. You just need to configure it with the same login details as the current zyxel.

    Hope that helps.
