What size dish will i need to pick up Thor ?

I have an 8ocm motorised dish and can pick up sats from 39E to 30W (my current E-W limitation due to obstructions)

    Thanks

Some transponers will come in. On an 80cm dish it will be affected by the weather but you should get some. I have a 1.1m dish and can recieve most of transponders on a typical irish weather day but some on thor 3 are a no no what ever the weather.

Astra 1 = 19*E Thor = 1*W ...so turn dish to the left (as you look at dish from front).

As you stand behind the dish, to the right, and up a bit too. It's a hard satellite to pinpoint exactly. I've found it easiest to find Sirius first, then work from there, as the elevation is almost the same.
