N.O.I.P has a 1911. Although I'm not sure if it's a TM. He seems to love it anyway.

TM make great AEGs but their pistols are abs plastic too. Some other brands make full metal pistols for the same price. Which are just as good, if not better. I'm not sure about the 1911 model though. I'll see if i can find one.

First one I could find. Made by Western Arms. Full metal. That site dont ship to outside of the U.S. But you get the idea!

Yay 1911 greatest handgun ever, I have a KSC, its actually more powerful than my rifles and pretty accurate too. I considered getting the WE as it was full metal but if I remember correctly the mags are more expensive and a little harder to come by.

Have a look at the special offers section on UNcompany they are doing a deal on a KSC 1911 with 2 spare mags and a drop leg for 125USD ..................................................uhm would it be nuts to buy a second one

god no, one in a vest holster and one in a leg holster......

Although ive gone off the use of pistols for use in skirmishes as they are not practicle

Yeah but reloading is a pain in the nut sack and when a pair of mp5k's are as cheap/cheaper then a pair of fancy pistols AND are full auto why use pistols?

Cos it take a bit of practice maybe even skill to use them effectively?

Different strokes for different folks, airsoft isn't all about raw performance as you know

With regards to the TM 1911:

Handled a friends the yesterday, seemed much less toy like then previous TM GBB's (a very good thing) and had a snappy recoil, though the gas capacity seemed quite low, whether that was due to the size of the magazine (single stack size, but double stacked bb's), the bitterly cold wind at the time or even a combination of the two i'm not quite sure, but it did seem like a great buy overall

i dont mean reloadinngs a pain in the sense the putting a mag in the gun is a pain but more so loading a pistol man with bb's as apposed to loading an aeg mag. and when you dont have multiple mags for the pistol its a bit useless.

I would like to give the pistol another try sometime with more mags on me. i think thats what put me off them, not being able to reload the pistol mid fight.

Got one myself. Very happy with it. Nice finish and you can a get metal frame and slide if you want, making it full metal. Although it cost a few bob.
Nice kick out of it.

Get a few speedloaders. You can get pistol-mag-shaped ones.
Reloading a mag takes 2 or 3 seconds.

You can use them for Locaps for your AEG as well.

i have a speed loader but loading PISTOL mags is no easier with it as the bb's don't drop in the top like in an AEG mag, they have to be pushed in from the side of the mag.

Its like an adapter for pistol mags.

Edit: Actually thats exactly what its called, an adaptor...
I have one glued to to speedlaoder so not to lose it.
2nd Speedlaoder is for lo-caps.

Could you just not buy several mags and have them preloaded? four mags would probably be more then enough.

ah, the whole pistol thing is up in the air. i'd need two with 2 mags each to rely consider them usefull. Id love to get a CO2 pistol that has the hi cap 50 rd mags and get maybe 3 mags. that way i could even go pistol only if i was feeling brave but for now im shying away from the pistol. the revolver will just be for show more then anything. still though, it holds 24 shots.

Did, got a few deadly head shots. Actually I got some new gas so Ill drop up soon and let you try that in your Mac and see how it goes. It works REALLY well in mine...actually I just realised I have your holster anyways!

It would be cool if you could get the Mac working for our excursion to Predator as a secondary!! Actually you want a lift? I see your name is on the definately going list.

Nah, the 3rd is where it stands...I just got the bill from New York. Lets just say it'll take about 9 weeks to pay back even with the amount I work!

I'm heading out there in March actually. But it's a college trip...and I'm on a grant. So I dont have to pay a cent
