    or
    2. E520 Pentium D 945 Processor Dual Core (3.40Ghz, 800Mhz FSB)
    or
    3. Dimension 9150 PD 830 3.0GHz, 800FSB

    1. 256MB ATI Radeon X1300 PRO (1xDVI, 1xVGA, 1xS-Video
    or
    2. GeForce 7300

Got the e520 with E6300 (its core 2 duo) (1.86Ghz, 1066Mhz) and 256MB ATI Radeon X1300 PRO, last month in the dell outlet. Think someone was asking about the GeForce 7300 recently and as far as i can remember it uses the systems ram when it says 256mb.

If you can get it for under 450 its a bargain ( i got mine for 422 and someone posted in bargain alerts recently saying it was there for 416) , runs vista fine.

Neither are gonna be good for gaming.

    Cheers for that.

The price you are quoting, I presume you mean thats the price before VAT and delivery. I find Dell's pricing very, very misleading, I checked on today and it ended up as:

Price incl. VAT & del*: EUR 778.03
Price incl. del excl. VAT: EUR 643.00
Price excl. VAT & del: EUR 593.00
Estimated System Delivery*: Standard Ground Shipping EUR 50.00
    VAT: EUR 135.03

So it starts at 593 and ends up at 778.

I have been checking the outlet for a few weeks now and I have never seen a dual core under €450

    after vat and delivery :)

there was 140 euros off when i got it ( outlet has that now again i think) so that covered vat and then there was free delivery aswell when i got mine.

make sure you think the money off box if it applies ( stuck in the middle of all the accessories when your in the checkout, well on the outlet anyways).

I understand that the pricing is without VAT and delivery, but as its a consumer site and not a corporate one, its done intentionally to mislead. Its certainly not as cheap as chips as people make out. It will end up working out as 800-900 .....without speakers, without lcd of anytype, software, wireless keyboard or mouse etc. 800-900 for a box that in your words... "are not gonna be good for gaming"

Well Ive tried to get the 140 off, but it doesn't seem to work on the outlet site. Will keep trying though and see what pops up.

If you do plan playing BF2 or anything of that calibre you will want to be replacing that card as soon as it arrives.

I'd be confident it'd manage a bit better then low settings but I'd imagine no better then filtering, textures and other options on medium without any dynamic lighting or AA at best at fairly low resolution.

Sell the card for about 30 or 40 euro, and buy another second hand on adverts - 100 would get you a fairly nice card. I sold my 7600GT awhile ago for 90.

    Thanks for your reply.

I ended up getting the following:
    Dimension 9200 Dual Core E6300 (1.86Ghz, 1066Mhz
Genuine Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2005
    Graphics Card 256MB ATI Radeon X1300 PRO (1xDVI, 1xVGA, 1xS-Video)

Thought it was okay for the money I paid in the end (wha hey - I got the 140 off) 455 before VAT

I will take your advice on changing the card soon though

The dimension 9200 is okay isn't it?
