    Hi,

    I have Internet explorer 7.0.
Every now and then I get a message on bottom left of page "error on page" with the little yellow warning triangle!
It seems to be when filling in forms
Googleing it says use IEFIX but it does not work on IE 7.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

    The page still works, right?
It's a combination of IE being gay, and the author not knowing how to code properly. Don't worry about it.

    Hi,

It's Javascript errors. Double-click on the triangle and see what it says.

It's one of two things - your javascript settings (have you disabled javascript?) or the other is crappy code on the website. You can do nothing about the latter.

OP, you'll find this on a lot of pages. Indeed some Google pages have errors on them.

As mentioned, it could be poor coding or Javascript errors.

One other point, most web pages are optimised for use in Internet Explorer but there are a few that are optimised for Firefox and other browsers.

Try the page in a different browser.
At one point (in the early days of Firefox) it was impossible to use Hotmail with Firefox! I suspect that was a deliberate effort by MS to alienate Hotmail users from taking up with those crazy Firefox folk :D

Is it a Flash or JAVA website? Do you have the latest version of each? Is your firewall stopping you from submitting the data in the form?

EDIT: /Sneakily bashes 'gay' IE while irlrobins back is turned :D

Ah come on, it's only a bit of banter! This is Boards.ie, not Microsoft.com! And it's not like you've paid or anything...

Which website are you having these errors on anyway? Do you get the same errors in FireFox?
