Hi all, if this isnt the right place, you can move it.

For a while, i couldnt see pictures displayin products on websites like Amazon, Ebay, etc. One time i could, but in the last few months i couldnt & i dont know what happened, i must have done somethin to the settings in Firefox (1.0.7ver)

I've tried doin this, but to no avail it doesnt seem to work

    Mozilla Firefox (1.0)
Select 'Tools' from the top menu
    Choose 'Options'
Choose 'Web Features' from the left navigation panel
Select the checkbox next to 'Enable JavaScript' and click 'OK'

Here are a few attachments: i had to change the format to fit in, so you can have a look at.

    MY SPECS:

    Windows XP version 5.1 SP2
    2.0 Ghz 512MB RAM

    Thanks for any help

    That's for -> Mozilla Firefox (1.5)
Select 'Tools' from the top menu
    Choose 'Options'
Choose 'Content' from the top navigation panel
Select the checkbox next to 'Enable JavaScript' and click 'OK'

As on that webpage it gave me different ways to change for different pages!

BTW thanks for the quick reply!

I think I remember. Do you have Norton Internet Security? The Ad Blocking feature contained in various Norton software products block small pictures from being displayed even if they're not ads... Norton's logic: "if a picture is the size of an advertisement, then it must be an advertisement".

Can you see the picture on this site? If not, turn off Ad Blocker (instructions can be found on that site).

    Nah i dont, here's what i have:

AVG version 7.5.430 and virus db version 268.14.6/535
    AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5
    Ad-Aware SE Personal
    Spybot-S&D
    ZoneAlarm version:6.5.737.000

I have actually tried it out on a few IE webpages I had offline when i had dial-up many moons ago & it seemed to work! but i stayed with FF for more security!

Ok, then it's definitely a FireFox setting. Did you tweak it much? Try a hard reset by doing Ctrl + F5 then re-apply your tweaks one by one to see which one blocks these images from being displayed.

Here's a pic finally, as there was too many windows open makin it sluggish to capture it.

On the right is where i got the info from that link (the best website ever)

    I'll check that out now.

Edit: That's it workin now! "Make sure that "for the originating website only" is not checked"
I unchecked it & worked, As i had no idea what that really meant but thanks for givin me the link as it was solved quicker than the time when the bookmarks dissappeared one day.
    Thanks Ruu & Steffano2002

Ray D'arcy's grey! heh-only jokin-if he wasnt he will be with the new baby!
But no wish him & jenny all the best.
