The hand played out and the result is the result.
Did I play it badly or was this one of those hands?
I actually think I played it ok, should I have just pushed the river/turn?
I think I was going to be called anyway (villain had so many outs on the river).

I prefer to lead out on the flop (if villan cont bets alot I sometimes check)..I dont like giving the opportunity for AQ and Q10 to check and take a free turn..I definitely bet the turn theres all kinds of flush and straight draws..

He's never folding on the turn. You are about 70% to win. Considering you got it all in on the turn you played it fine.

I agree, though I'd of lead the flop myself the turn was fine.

Yes, another little lesson learned, will lead the flop in future.
However, if I lead with a pot sized raise here I believe I am getting called by his top 2 pair anyway and the turn card then means he's not going away.

TBH when the set hit it was "I've hit the set" and totally forgot to think about his holding.
The straight draw didn't even enter my head at first, it was "how do I get him all-in".
    That looked after itself however!

Whenever I see someone check call a set on the flop and check raise on the turn, I usually mark them down as bad. leading is much better on the flop. You should be looking to play the biggest pots possible when you flop a set and checking 2 streets is rarely the way to do this. Check-call flop and check-raise turn is such a strong line that it allows many opponents to get away form strong hands. The flop in the hand above is such a great flop for you as it's very likely that someone will have a king or a jack and at that level top pair is teh nuts! So generally my line is to bet every street. When playing against extremely aggressive opponents I may alter it slightly.

"Bad", so that is somewhere between fish & hee-haw.
    Point and feedback taken.

Seriously, I actually feel like I'm at a point where I've started to ask questions where people are interested enough to post an opinion.
This forum will improve anyone who is willing to listen & learn.
I am willing, there is so much to learn.

    Cheers!
