Having seen both squads for tonights Carling Cup quarter finals I reckon 8/11 is a great price for Liverpool tonight. Arsenal are without Henry Gilberto and Rosicky to name just 3. Liverpool have named a very strong squad and will be determined to gain revenge for Saturdays defeat. 8/11 is very generous for the home team here. Heres both squads.

Liverpool (from): Dudek, Finnan, Carragher, Hyypia, Agger, Riise, Aurelio, Luis Garcia, Pennant, Alonso, Gerrard, Gonzalez, Bellamy, Kuyt, Crouch, Fowler, Reina.
arsenal (from): Abou Diaby, Francesc Fabregas, Kolo Toure, Julio Baptista, Denilson, Alex Song, Johan Djourou, Mart Poom, Manuel Almunia, Jeremie Aliadiere, Justin Hoyte, Theo Walcott, Matthew Connolly, Henry Lansbury, Mark Randall, Armand Traore.

    Verdict:
100 Points Liverpool to win @8/11
    40 Points: Liverpool HT-FT @7/4
5 Points: Bellamy to score 1st@6/1
3 Points Liverpool to win 3-1@12/1
    2 Points: Liverpool to win 4-2 @ 50/1

All your eggs in one basket there Pighead!

Speaking as an Arsenal fan I have to say I wasn't filled with confidence when I seen the squad Wenger has named. Saying that after our FA Cup win over Liverpool the pressure is off Arsenal and piled on the home team. Also, the younger players will play out of their skin to impress and push for some non Carling Cup first team action.

I'm not touching this match but come on you gunners :D

Wow, suprised at the team Rafa put out. Very odd.

    Just stuck 20 on Arsenal @ 4/1

Liverpool are a shambles, but then again so is the carling cup.

Oh dear indeed. That was a spectacularly bad night. Seen the starting Liverpool line up and thought, yeah not great but they'll still stuff the gunners. How wrong I was. As has been said already Liverpool were a shambles and my confidence in them was totally unfounded. Worst loss of the season for me. That'll learn me.

Bugger, Ive been opposing crisis club Slough for the last few weeks but each time their game has been abandoned. Just seen they played against Carshalton last night and got beat 5-1. They really are in the shit. Hopefully the bookies will price up their game this weekend.

Anyone foresee a cup upset for Chelski tonight? 14/1 Wycomme

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 202 ✭✭iwincosimcool

I fancy there to be most goals in the second half in the chelsea game at 11/10, Wycombe have conceded only three times in the first half in 18 matches played in all competitions at home this term, and Chelsea usually take a while to warm into matches so It looks a fairly decent bet.

EDIT: **** I thought I put 500 euro on it, I signed up with coral cos they had the best odds and just realised now I deposited and made the bet in £sterling! ****ting it!
