Im currently filling out an apllication form for a summer job(Im in college) and I could do with a bit of advice. My dilema is this. I have repeated the leaving cert and on the form it asks you to list all exams taken including resits. It also says they will need to see the official documents once the offer is made. Now do I just lie about repeating and hope they dont ask for the results(the only indication I repeated would be a lack of Irish and French on my official results) or should I just be honest. I didnt do too badly first time round as I got 350 points and didnt fail anything but Im worried this will hurt my application. Any advice? Thanks.

Just stick everything on the form. Someone who had the courage and drive to go back and resit the (what was a pretty good) leaving cert would look better in an application IMO.

True, I don't think they would have too many negative marks against a resit. In fact it shows that you are determined to get your goals and work for them.

    G'luck !
