Didn't Gretsky deliberately hit a ball off the post to lay on a score for a teammate? Sounded like an impressive score.

Well, it would have been a puck, but I heard that too, somewhere...

No question - 1972, Paul Henderson, Canada-Russia, summit-series tied after seven games, eighth (and last) game tied 5:5.

Here's the goal (cuts to the final whistle as well):

Would have meant alot more to me if Clarke hadn't deliberately slashed Valery Kharlamov fracturing his ankle. One of the all time most 'gutless' moves.

Absolutely amazing series, but that moment will always take away from the presige of winning that tournament for me.

I do get goosebumps when I look back at the rosters for both of those teams.

Henderson vs. The Russians. Clarkey didn't bother me, what with the Soviets kicking the shins in the corners.

Lanny McDonald vs. The Islanders Game 7 1978.

Was in attendance as Lanny scored his 500th goal at the Saddledome.

Sittler vs. Czech Republic Canada Cup 76.

John Slaney to win the World Jr. Championship for Canada, think that was 89.

2002 Olympics, any goal. We win again.

McDonald vs Montreal Game 6 at the Forum to Win Lord Stanley's Mug.

Lafleur scoring a beaut vs. the Leafs at the gardens sometime in the 78 or 79. All I remebre was it being such a great goal that it was the only time I ever applauded the opposition at MLG, especially galls me that it was Montreal.
