    Hi folks...
I have an Acer Veriton 7600GT and 3 nights ago i inserted a second hard drive to get data off it. I put this Hard Drive in on the CD ide cable.

When i booted up the computer- it went straight into hibernation and has being doing so ever since. The 2 hard drives are the same make (western digital). I unplugged the hard drive i inserted and still the same prob... It goes straight into Hibernation-about 3 secs- wont give me time to change any setting in control panel..iTRIED TO DO A RECOVERY AND THE PROB IS STILL THERE. It will not even let me get into safe mode...Whats wrong.. Any Ideas:confused::confused:

Is the cd rom still connected?Disconnect and try in case both are on master/slave setting.

Is it the old ata cable or the newer with grey and black connectors?

Could also reset cmos if above fails.
